Special housings

Special housings are mostly used for very specific tasks. Arrester housings, for example, provide surge protection, while switch housings separate the flow of power and compensation housings balance out linear expansion due to temperature fluctuations. Many of these housings are made from long seam welded jackets and welded with flanges of cast or wrought alloys. Wartmann Technologie AG also manufactures precision-fit housings that satisfy very narrow tolerances.
