Wartmann Technologie AG is an authorized SDR Service and Repair Center for preparatory and follow-up work for the tests required by ADR/SDR and tank servicing in accordance with Chapters 6.7/6.8 of the ADR and 6.14 of the SDR.

The Swiss Federal Inspectorate of Dangerous Goods (EGI) is the body responsible for authorizing and testing tanks, pressure vessels and packaging for the transport of dangerous goods and the classification of such goods. It performs inspections on equipment such as tank trucks, tank containers, rail tank cars, large packaging containers and pressure vessels. 

The EGI is an appointed body in accordance with TPED (Directive 1999/35/EC and Directive 2010/35/EC) and an accredited and certified inspection center.

The EGI’s experts sit on international committees and are involved in drafting regulations, guidelines and standards.
